Lavender Bourbon Sour 


   * Ice cubes/Crushed Ice
   * 2 Ounces Bourbon
   * 1 Tablespoon Lavender Sour Syrup
   * Fresh lavender sprig, for garnish


Fill a rocks glass with ice; pour over bourbon.
Fill with lavender sour syrup; stir to combine.

Garnish with lavender sprig and serve immediately.


Lavender Sour Syrup::

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup dried lavender
Freshly squeezed lemon juice

Bring sugar and 2 cups water to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat, and cook, stirring, until sugar has dissolved. Reduce heat to low and add lavender. Cover and let steep 15 minutes.

Strain mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher. Add lemon juice to taste.

Alternatively, if you want to cheat - they do sell commercially available Lavender Syrups, many of which are used in Cafes & Coffee shops!
