Treasures & Heirlooms

I was so very excited to hand deliver this beautiful album this past weekend. I can't really explain how impressed I have been with how much care and craft that is put into these books. I had a blast designing it with Lindsay & Ryan, so I know that they will treasure it for generations.  What an acute reminder of the power of our shared photographic memories.  So very cool.

I can't wait to collaborate with the rest of my clients on their albums in the future!

2014: A Review (What A Year!)

2014: A Review (What A Year!)

From the excitement of engagements, to the hustle of getting ready.  The anxious waiting to walk down the aisle, the smile of relief when it's complete.  From heartfelt stories and speeches to quiet moments of reflection.  Tender dances and exuberant parties.  2014 had it all for me, and for my clients.  It was a year of challenges, growth, affirmation and swollen hearts.  I am so grateful to all of my clients this year for trusting me with their celebrations, and with the documentation of their lives.  While I couldn't include every image made or event I covered this year, here are some of my favourites.  What a beautiful group of weddings.

Adventures :: Algonquin Provincial Park

While I know that every photographer is passionate about their clients, I really have to say - I've hands down got the best.  The wonderful, passionate, and utterly full of life couples that let me into their lives continue to amaze me.  There was no way I could dare dream of not joining Karen & Kevin on a winter camping excursion to Algonquin Provincial Park.

While the weather was a balmy -10 (-30 with the windchill), Tina & I bundled up and spent two days hiking, exploring, photographing, and eating (lots of eating) with these two crazy kids. They even put up with my badgering long enough to let me take a panoramic portrait as we looked out over the whole of Algonquin on Lookout Trail.

I am so very excited for the future adventures we will have this summer,
when I photograph their wedding celebration in Halifax, NS.
